Busy January so happened to become a busy February.
This week’s Best Band Ever™ is Jacques Loussier trio. Turning classical music into jazz is, in my opinion, the ultimate tribute to the source material. And I think Bach only wins that way. His music was a little … robotic, even if still genius.

Meanwhile, today there were several votes in Switzerland, two of them received a strong “no“ to support the side that first claimed that voting like that will hurt for the rich. At least one of them was most likely the opposite, but I think it’s the sign of the times - confusion and apathy are weaponised.
In a way, it feels like we’ve moved Godwin’s law from the internet to real life and used that too much so that the meaning of “hitler bad“ somehow got watered down. I suspect that will be the exact putin’s excuse, whether he decides to actually elaborate on the protection of the Volksdeutsche. Paraphrasing Orwell, if you don’t have an external enemy - you have to face your own problems.
